With no plans and only each other for company, Emily and Jameson decide to make the best of their unplanned night together. Thanks to bad weather, the New York flight is deferred to Boston until the next day. The dialogue between Emily and Jameson is entertaining and will have you cracking through the first chapters. While she initially finds him annoying, a few champagne glasses are all it takes to have them both talking like old friends. Emily is looking to have a quiet flight, but Jameson will not stop talking. This is where she meets Jameson Miles, a hot guy who allows her to have the window seat. After an incident at the airport, she is upgraded from coach to first class. Emily Foster is a young, aggressive woman. This book starts with a New York-bound flight, and Emily Foster and Jameson Miles are in it. The Stopover is the first book in The Miles High Club series. She enjoys doing other things, including drinking coffee, reading books with strong storylines, and an occasional decadent piece of cake. The talented author is also a mother of three, and she enjoys spending time with her husband and their many spoilt pets. Her characters are strong and easy to love, and she works to ensure that they stay in your mind long after reading her books. While Swan enjoys her work in the Australian Schizophrenia Association, writing is her first love and something she enjoys doing in her free time. ![]() This book certainly deserves a 5 star rating.T L Swan is an Australian-born romance writer who enjoys bringing the sexy stories in her head to life. I recommend this book for anyone who loves a romance with steam, cute banter and a whole lot of cuteness, lots of laugh out loud moments. The only issue I could point out was that some issues were too drawn out in the book but that’s just a minor thing. It had everything I want in a romance novel. I got butterflies while reading this book. It was quite lovely to read and I didn’t get tired at any point. I am proud to say I didn’t skip any part of this book. I also would have loved an epilogue but well it’s all good. I just loved their banter, they were seriously cute together. ![]() Claire annoyed me at times especially towards the end but it wasn’t enough to turn me off. I hate reading a book and feeling like it was too short and went a little too fast. I felt that T.l swan put every detail in this book without leaving anything out maybe it felt a little too long to some people but for me I loved it. ![]() Claire was your typical single mother stressed and dog tired, it was clear that she was given too much to handle alone and Tristan came into her life at a very good time. I loved how their relationship progressed over time and how he was able to win her sons also ( fletcher, Harry, Patrick) it was so cute to read. I won’t lie at first I didn’t like Tristan, I thought he was just going to be a cold-hearted jerk but he literally stole my heart. I thought this book was just going to be about a cold hero with no good personality trait, but what I got was entirely different. I just read the blurb and thought I should give it a try. When I picked this book, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. He’s just a player in a hot suit, and I’m just a widow with three unruly sons.īecause everybody knows that Tristan Miles always gets what he wants…and what he wants is me. Still arrogant and infuriating-but this time, surprisingly charming and witty. Six months later, he was the guest speaker at a conference I attended in France. Turning him down was the highlight of my year. I would rather die than date a man like him-though I do have to admit it was good for the ego. In the shock of the century, he called me three days later and asked me on a date. He was powerful, arrogant, and infuriatingly gorgeous, and I hated him with every cell in my body. I first met Tristan Miles at a meeting where he was trying to take over my late husband’s company. Thank you to Netgalley and amazon publishing uk for providing me an arc copy in exchange for an honest review The takeover is the 2 book in the miles high club series but can be read as a stand-alone. The Takeover is an enemies to lovers romance written by T.L Swan. ![]()
